The AAOHN Online Game

AAOHN's Occupational Health Nursing online game is an excellent tool to assess your knowledge in all areas of occupational health. If you are new to the specialty or if you want a fun refresh on skills, check out this fast paced game. You'll earn points in each of six categories. There is an 80% minimum passing score needed to complete the course. Learners may restart the course for multiple attempts as needed. Compete against yourself and test your knowledge as a final review before sitting for the certification exam.

OSHA's Respiratory Protection Program Training and Resources

AAOHN offers a FREE training with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Program. The online Respiratory Protection course and accompanying resources for occupational health professionals who want to learn more about OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard and the role of the Respiratory Protection Program Administrator have recently been updated to current standards. You do NOT need to be an AAOHN member to participate in this free training or access the training resources. This training is applicable to nurses or other health care professionals acting as a Respiratory Program Administrator. More information is located under Practice.

Each module is self-paced and you can do it anywhere, anytime. If you need to log out while using the course, you may log in and return to finish your course.

AAOHN's COHN/COHN-S Online Review Course

Occupational Health Nurses preparing for the COHN/COHN-S exams may take this entirely online course to prepare at their own pace on their own schedule. The course offers a comprehensive review of occupational health nursing and follows the updated 2024 blueprint for the American Board of Occupational Health Nursing (ABOHN) Certification exams: COHN or COHN-S.

COHN/COHN-S Certification Practice Test

With over 400 practice test questions, the AAOHN COHN/COHN-S Certification Practice Test supplements study for the ABOHN certification exams in occupational health nursing. A practice test question bank following the 2020 ABOHN exam content blueprint will assess knowledge and provide a baseline for occupational health nursing certification exam preparation. Rationale and feedback given with every question, as well as a score summary and overall test review. Learners may take the test more than once. Please note that the course must be passed before a certificate will be issued.

The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. (AAOHN) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

AAOHN follows the American Nurses Credentialing Center guidelines in calculating continuing nursing education credits. With every educational activity and evaluation that is completed, each one (1) hour of education time is equal to one (1) continuing nursing education credit.

The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. is additionally approved as a CNE provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing (#CEP9283).
