Each year AAOHN honors outstanding members for excellence in activities that promote, advance, guide and protect the occupational and environmental health nursing profession.

The 2019 Awards Applications are now open! All applications and supporting documents are due on Friday, November 30th, 2018.

UL EHS Sustainability - AAOHN Workplace Health and Safety Stewardship Award

Purpose: To recognize a licensed nurse practicing in the field of OHN who is dedicated to creating a culture of health and safety in the workplace. This award acknowledges an unsung hero who exemplifies the mission of UL EHS Sustainability, which is to protect and promote the well-being of workers, ensure organizational compliance and peace of mind, and drive measurable business improvement.

AAOHN Business Recognition Award

Purpose: To recognize businesses that support and promote the occupational and environmental health nursing profession.

AAOHN Fellowship

Purpose: To recognize leaders in the field of Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing and AAOHN, who demonstrate outstanding accomplishments through significant contributions in the areas of clinical practice, education, research, management or policy.

Note: Applications for the AAOHN Fellowship require two (2) nominating sponsors. More information about sponsorship requirements and forms can be found on the application. The Applicant is responsible for coordinating submission of sponsorship forms by November 30th, 2018.

AAOHN Lillian G. Carter Humanitarian Award

Purpose: To recognize a leader in the profession of occupational and environmental health nursing (OEHN) and the AAOHN, who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments through significant contributions in nursing and humanitarian endeavors in local, national, or international arenas.

Note: Applications for the Lillian G. Carter Humanitarian Award requires one (1) nominating sponsor. More information about sponsorship requirements and forms can be found on the application. The Applicant is responsible for coordinating submission of sponsorship forms by November 30th, 2018. 

AAOHN Chapter Awards
