Course Description:

Companies using a transitional approach to Occupational Health & Safety may have a wellness program, but there is a lack of integration that could best serve the employee population. In this session, learn how the Occupational Health Nurse can take a leadership role toward the development of a Total Worker Health model.

Course Outcomes:

  1. Define Total Worker Health and Employee Population Health Management.
  2. Explain how providers can analyze data from OSHA, workers' compensation insurance, and employer-sponsored medical plans to better understand the full impact of Total Workplace Health.
  3. Analyze workforce wellness and health promotion programs from the historical perspective and examine emerging program goals for employers.
  4. Lisa at least 4 workplace solutions that promote total workplace health, improve workplace productivity, and minimize medical spend.
