Course Description:

OHNs need to understand what to look for and how to do a Safety Walkthrough to identify workplace hazards facing employees in order to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses. Many OHNs have not had the opportunity to develop the skills needed to conduct a safety walkthrough.  This is a must if the OHN is to determine the work-relationship of occupational injuries and illnesses.

Course Outcomes:

Upon completion of this session, the learner will be able to:

  1. Identify occupational safety hazards and abatements
  2. Describe how to conduct a Safety Walkthrough
