When an employee or group of employees present with concerns about their workplace making them ill or causing a health problem from migraines to cancer, you, the OHN are often left wondering what to do with the information. This webinar will define a health event, explain who needs to be involved in the investigation and how you can and should be a critical participant and facilitator to the investigation. Additionally sample scenarios will be presented to walk through how such investigations can develop.


Presenter Information: Nicole Shaffer, DNP, CRNP-BC, COHN-S is a doctorally-prepared Nurse Practitioner with 19 years of experience in manufacturing and research. She has conducted many assessments related to exposures in those settings and performed epidemiological work related to potential/questionable exposures and created guidance for biological agent exposures in the workplace.
