NIOSH National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) - June 2017

NIOSH will be launching the 3rd decade of the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) during a conference June 21-22 in Colorado, Expanding Research Partnerships: State of the Science. It will be a great way to hear about the latest research and practices in occupational safety and health. You can share progress too –abstracts are due Friday. https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/conferences/sots/default.html

You are invited to make comments on a NIOSH a survey instrument on worker well-being that was published in the Nov 14, Federal Register https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2016-11-14/pdf/2016-27261.pdf. After a 60-day notice, the draft survey will go through clearance. Upon approval, the survey will be piloted.  By this time next year, there should be a final survey for assessing worker well-being that you can use to better assess the well-being status of your employees and share the data with NIOSH.
